A childhood favourite, hickory sticks are salty, smokey and acidic.  You can use this spice mixture to season crispy items that come out of your oven, or you can use it as a rub for meat you’ll grill or roast later in the day. 


  • 1 cup Sweek Smoked Paprika
  • 2 tbsp Cayenne
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Citric Acid
  • 1 tbsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Powder


  1. Combine all ingredients into a mixing bowl
  2. Mix with a whisk until fully combined with no lumps
  3. Store in a sealed container (don’t forget to label it!)
